The Mini Company program works to challenge our dancers to improve their technique, skills and creativity, build teamwork, develop sportsmanship, and provide additional performance opportunities.
Being part of the Mini Company requires talent, commitment, dedication, passion, hard work, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to perform and grow as a dancer. And what your child will gain from the experience in Mini Company is priceless—as both a dancer and an individual.
All accounts will be automatically debited when fees are due unless payment is received prior to that date.
A 20% late fee may apply on any fees not paid by the assigned due date or a declined transaction.
All Company accounts are required to have an active credit card on file.
Audition fee is $20 due by Tuesday, May 16th.
Mini Company Audition Class will be held Tuesday, May 16th from 4:30 - 5:15 pm.
The results of the auditions will be posted on the website on Monday, May 29th.
If a dancer is unable to attend the auditions, or is asked to join the Company after the auditions the $20 audition fee will not be waived.
The Mini Company dancers are encouraged to dance all summer long, but only required to attend the following summer classes:
Dancers going into Kindergarten - 4 days of summer classes
Dancers going into 1st & 2nd grade - 6 days of summer classes
SPECIAL NOTE: We would like our Kindergarten Mini Company dancers to enroll in the OPEN CLASSES with the 1st and 2nd graders this summer (even though it says 6-8 year olds on the summer dance info)
Please be sure to enroll in the SUMMER CLASSES through our online STORE.
The Mini Company dancers will be dancing two days during the week, one of those days may be on Saturday.
All of our Mini Company dancers will be enrolled in the CORE class requirements (jazz, ballet and turns and leaps).
All other classes the dancers wish to enroll in are listed under Additional Class Options.
The Mini Company dancers do not participate in online enrollment for fall classes, the faculty will enroll them in the appropriate classes after auditions.
Enrollment Registration fee of $45 per student is due May, 16th.
Tuition is due by the 1st of each month September - May. Any tutition not received by the 5th of each month will be subject to a 20% late fee.

The faculty will determine after Auditions which dancers they feel are "ready" for Additional Classes.
If you are wanting your child to participate and we feel he or she is not ready we will provide an explanation as to why we feel your dancer is not ready to compete in these styles.
Mini Company dancers may be selected to participate in a small group dance for the 2018 dance season.
There is a section on the Mini Company registration form where you will mark whether or not you would like your dancer to be considered to participate in a small group.
All forms will be reviewed by the faculty. The faculty will determine which dancers they feel are "ready" to do a small group.
Most Mini Company dancers will NOT be asked to participate in a small group, this is something that they have to "work up" too as they get older.
If you are wanting your child to participate and we feel he or she is not ready we will provide an explanation as to why we feel your dancer is not ready to compete in these dances.
Some of the things that the faculty will take into consideration are:
The dancer must be willing to attend ANY scheduled group rehearsals.
A detailed schedule of the rehearsal times will be given at a later date.
A one time rehearsal fee is required for group dances, regardless of how often and/or when the dance rehearses.
The rehearsal fees for small groups is $115 per dance due Saturday, August 1st.
The Mini Company is a big commitment, and we expect the Mini Company dancers and their parents to take their attendance very seriously.
The dance season is a August - May time commitment. We ask that you refrain from participating in other activites that conflict with regularly scheduled classes and/or rehearsals for the ENTIRE season.
There is no attendace policy for the Mini Company dancers, but it is strongly recommended that they miss no more than 1 time per month.
Costume fees range from $75 to $275 per dance.
Typically Hip Hop and Tap costumes are much less expensive than Contemporary and Jazz costumes.
NEW THIS YEAR! Costume fees will cover costumes, rhinestone, headpieces and accessories not to exceed $275.
Some costume pieces, headpieces or accessories may be rented for the season. Rentals must be returned at the end of the dance season. Dancers will be billed for the full amount of any rental not returned at the end of the season.
Costume fees will be broken down into 3 seperate payments:
1. June 1st - A costume deposit of $200 per dancer is due.
2. July 1st - Dancers placed in more than 2 dances will have an additional $100 costume deposit per dance.
3. November 2017 - March 2018 - Once each costume is finalized, dancers will be billed for the remainder of their costume expenses. You will receive an email when your costume fee has been applied to your account. Balances are due upon receipt.

The Company Concert is Tuesday, January 3rd, 2018 and the Spring Concert will be in May of 2018.
Each family must be willing to pay a Concert fee for each show to help pay for the rental of the facility, programs, etc.
Company Concert fee is $50 due June 1st.
Spring Concert fee is $50 due September 1st.
We will try to select two Competitions in the Kansas City/Overland Park area, however, this may not be possible in which case this will require travel.
Once all of the dates are available for the 2018 season we will determine where the dancers will compete.
If you have any date conflicts in 2018, please be sure to let us know when you fill out your registration form.

It is a possibility that our dances may compete on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.
We will receive the competition schedule approximately one week before the competition date.
Estimated entry fees:
A $35 directors/procesing fee will be charged for each competition.
The dancers who are going into 2nd grade must be willing to attend 1 convention, however we recommend it for ALL of our Mini Company dancers.
Once all of the dates are available for the 2018 season we will determine which convention the dancers will attend.
Some of the Conventions we've attended in the past include:
The dancers will not compete when they attend the Convention. They will take two half-days of classes.
This will require the dancers to travel and spend the night in a hotel.
This convention will be OPTIONAL for all of our Kindergarten and 1st grade Minis.
A $35 directors/processing fee will be added to each convention fee.
