Miss Kara

Kara has been involved with The Dance Factory for the last 33 years. She earned a degree from Washburn University in Early Childhood Education. Kara enjoys teaching tap, hip hop and jazz to a variety of age levels. She has attended many dance conventions including Tremaine and West Coast Dance Explosion, as well as professional classes in Los Angles to further her dance education.
Miss Megan

Megan began studying classical ballet at the age of four with June Landrith and the Metropolitan Ballet of Topeka. At the age of eight, she also joined the Dance Factory family where she studied for ten years. Megan was involved in competing, attending numerous dance conventions, and spent a summer with the Virginia School of the Arts for ballet intensives. While attending the University of Kansas, Megan was a Rock Chalk Dancer and a member of the Art In Motion Dance Company. Megan earned a degree from the University of Kansas in Sport Management and Business and is thrilled for the opportunity to educate young dancers.
Miss Nichelle
Nichelle grew up dancing at the Dance Factory for 15 years as a student, nine of those competing in all styles. After graduating, she attended Washburn University, where she danced and competed with the Washburn Dancing Blues for three years. She has also been teaching at the Dance Factory with all ages for several years. Nichelle has a passion for all things health and wellness, and loves working with students to improve in all aspects of their dance careers. Her favorite styles of dance are Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing her students grow and get excited about all things in dance and life.
Miss Mariah
Mariah has been dancing since she was three years old at the Dance Factory, twelve of those years she danced with the Competition Company. She has had the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles multiple times to train with dance and also danced on the collegiate level for two years. Her favorite thing about teaching is getting to see each dancer not only grow in their dance ability, but also as a person!
Miss Grace
Grace has danced at the Dance Factory for 15 years, two years on the Performance Company and eight years on the Competition Company. She graduated from the studio in 2017, and has been teaching along side her fellow faculty members ever since. Along with teaching, she is currently attending the University of Kansas with a major in Film and Media Studies and minors in Dance and Business. The Dance Factory has always been her second home and she loves dancing and teaching with her second family every week!
Miss Claire
Claire has been dancing at the Dance factory for 15 years, twelve of them on the competition company. She has traveled to many competitions all over the United States, and has traveled to Los Angeles the past four summers to take extended classes. She is currently attending Washburn University with a major in Elementary Education. Her favorite style of dance is Jazz.
Miss Andie
Miss Sierra
Sierra danced at the Dance Factory from age 3-18yrs, where she was a part of both the Performance Company and Competition Company. After graduating, she spent time dancing at Washburn University where she then decided to persue a teaching career within dance. Her heart is with Hip-Hop, but she always loves switching it up with Jazz Funk and sometimes Contemporary. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching her students make her choreography come alive whether it's just in class or on the stage.
